NEW YEAR’S EVE AT SELBY GARDENS

It’s New Year’s Eve at Selby Gardens. Enjoy what’s being billed as “Sarasota’s most sophisticated and diverse New Year’s Eve experience:” a black-tie event featuring a private journey through tropical holiday light displays and a seated 4-course dinner. You’ll enjoy dinner in the luxuriously decorated surroundings and a great view of the fireworks over the bay, live entertainment and dancing.

WHEN:  December 31, 2021 | 7 p.m. until 1 a.m.

WHERE:  Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, 900 S. Palm Ave, Sarasota, FL. 

 ADMISSION: $300.00 per person. 

NEW YEAR’S EVE DOWNTOWN SARASOTA

Celebrate New Year’s Eve downtown Sarasota with the annual Pineapple Drop! The ‘party’ kicks off at 1 p.m. and continues until 1:30 a.m. Amusement Rides & Games (at 5 Points Park), Food, Drinks & Full Bar Concessions. There will also be live musical performances at Main Street and Lemon Avenue by some of Florida’s and the region’s top musicians including Kettle of Fish, Dr. Dave, and Twinkle and Rock Soul Radio rock band. The Pineapple drops at midnight and there’s a fantastic firework display on Sarasota Bay. The annual downtown celebration is estimated to attract more than 20,000 – 25,000.

NOON YEAR’S EVE

It’s “Noon Year’s Eve” at The Bishop! Join The Bishop for a New Year’s Eve celebration when your kids will still be awake! Instead of ringing in the New Year at midnight, The Bishop will be ringing in the New Year at noon! Design egg shakers, create party hats, and write resolutions for 2022. Plus: We’ll have a countdown and a balloon drop in the Courtyard. “Noon Year’s Eve” at The Bishop is included in the price of Museum admission and no registration is necessary. 

WHEN:  December 31, 2021 | *Please note: Museum Admission on Dec. 31 is half-price and the Museum will be closing at 1 p.m.

WHERE: The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, 201 10th St West, Bradenton, FL.

SHARKY’S ON THE PIER 

Ring in 2022 at Sharky’s on the Pier New Year’s Eve Beach Bash! Live entertainment by Scarlet Drive, a Gulf Coast-based five-piece and female-fronted band that specializes in high energy covers and original tunes. Scarlet Drive’s show features a diverse mix of upbeat pop, rock, country and dance music that ranges in style from the 70s to today’s popular hits. There will also be Food truck Specials, live Fireworks show at Midnight silhouetted by the iconic Venice Fishing Pier. 

WHEN:  December 31, 2021 | 7 p.m. -12:30 a.m. 

WHERE:  Sharky’s on the Pier, 1600 Harbor Drive S., Venice, FL 

ADMISSION:  Tickets $29 – $120.00 (VIP). 

NEW YEAR’S EVE AT FISHERMAN’S VILLAGE 

Enjoy New Year’s Eve at Fisherman’s Village complete with live music, food, shopping, family fun and midnight fireworks. 

WHEN:  December 31,2021 | 6 p.m. 

WHERE:  Fisherman’s Village, 1200 W. Retta Esplanade, Punta Gorda, FL.

ADMISSION:  FREE/ Parking is FREE.
